They grow suspended from long stems on evergreen leafy trees. When immature, the soft yellow skin will retain spots of green. When fully ripe, the deeper saffron-hued skin may have a blush of red, but no green color will remain. Common pests such as mealy bugs and scale insects can harm an mango tree, as can mirids and thrips. Occasionally, a mango tree may experience a fungal infection as well. However, you can often treat these infections by using a fungicide. Among all of the fungal diseases which may occur in an mango tree,Mango harvesting usually begins during May but can last a while, as not all fruits will mature on these trees simultaneously.
